The steps and shaping of an Ecumenical Missionary

It takes a real man and a real woman to be a priest. Discerning whether God is calling you to this challenging vocation will require of you prayer, courage, effort, careful reflection and much humility .As a human being inquiring about the priesthood or monastic life with the Ecumenical Missionaries, you are obviously involving yourself in an important decision-making process.
After much prayer and reflection. You are asked to do the following procedures:

  1. Recommendations: This list should include people with whom you have worked, friends ,priest, pastor, and other acquaintances.
  2. Psychological Testing: This testing is administered by the psychologists who are familiar with working with applicants for the Ecumenical Missionaries.
  3. Ecumenical Missionaries application forms: you will need a high school and/or college transcript ,college board scores,(if a recent high school graduate).
  4. Medical /physical form, and sacramental certificates (Baptism and Confirmation)
  5. Background check: Handled by the Ecumenical Missionaries.
  6. Interview with the Admissions Committee.

At the conclusion of the formal application procedure, a decision will be made regarding your acceptance into the Ecumenical Missionary Family.
